Tory Brown, the designer of Votes for Women, will be at Play 2026

Tory Brown is the designer of Votes for Women, which launched on the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the US  Constitution.

Votes for Women is a card-driven game about the American Women's Suffrage Movement and was named a Game of the Year by multiple publications. Inspired by the story of tireless organizing of countless women, she designed the game as a loveletter to the most successful popular movement in American history.

Tory is a longtime activist and works as a political communications strategist for America's largest labor union. She lives in Baltimore, MD with her husband and cat.
